Cash payments can be made in person in class. Please make sure you child’s name is written clearly on the front of an envelope with cash inside and handed directly to the instructor.

Family Discount

We are proud to offer a tiered discount for families with two or more children – a unique benefit exclusive to our club:

  • 1st Child = full price

  • 2nd Child = 10% discount

  • 3rd Child = please contact Graham

 

Please note: If you are claiming the Family Discount, fees must be paid upfront and in full before the start of term.

When do you run Judo Classes in Surrey?

We run sessions in the Weybridge and Walton-on-Thames area in Surrey throughout the week: 

  • Thursdays (Weybridge): Junior sessions from 4:00 – 4:55 pm (6-8 yrs), 5:00 pm – 5:55 pm (8-10 yrs), and 6:00 pm – 6:55 pm (10-16 yrs).
  • Fridays (Weybridge): Sessions from 4:00 – 4:55 pm  (4-7 yrs), 5:00 pm – 5:55 pm (8-10 yrs), 6:00 – 6:55 pm (10 yrs plus) and from 7:00 – 8:00 pm an Adults (18 yrs+) class.
  • Saturdays (Walton-on-Thames): Sessions from 9:30 to 10:25 (10+ years), 10:30am to 11:25am (4-7 yrs), 11:30am to 12.25pm (8-12 yrs)

We offer flexible payment structures including Pay-Per-ClassHalf-Term, or Full-Term rates to suit your family’s needs. 

  • Family Discount: We are proud to offer a 10% discount for your second child, and a 20% discount for a third child.
  • Come & watch: Prospective members are welcome to visit and watch a session for free before taking part. 

For their first few sessions, there is no need to buy a formal uniform (Gi).

  • Beginners: Please wear a tracksuit or a loose, long-sleeved top and loose-fitting trousers.
  • Safety: Avoid any clothing with hoods, zips, or metal buttons that could cause injury or damage the mats.
  • Footwear: No special shoes are needed as judo is practiced barefoot on the mats.
  • Formal Kit: Once they decide to join regularly, official judo suits are available to purchase directly from the club. Talk to Sense Graham about sizes and fit.
  • Cleves School (Weybridge): Visitors can use the main school car park after 4:00 pm. Limited on-street parking is also available nearby.
  • St James School (Weybridge): No parking is permitted on the school grounds. Please use available street parking on the surrounding roads and respect our neighbours
  • Scout Hut (Walton-on-Thames): Free on-street parking is available nearby. Please respect local residents by parking mindfully. Parking inside the Scout Hut gates is strictly prohibited.

Please arrive no earlier than 5 minutes before your scheduled class time.
• Do not worry if you run late; your child is always welcome to join in when you arrive.
• Note: Instructors are only responsible for students once the official class time begins.

  • Cleves School (Weybridge): Yes. Parents can comfortably watch the lessons from the balcony overlooking the sports hall.
  • St James School (Weybridge): No. School policy strictly prohibits parents and spectators from entering the school grounds.
  • Scout Hut (Walton-on-Thames): Yes. Parents are welcome to watch, but we ask that you keep noise to a minimum so the students can hear the instructor.
